Follow these four steps, and you’ll be able to score good marks in IELTS exam:-

1. Work on your English

This might seem difficult for some who are not aware of the language, but practice makes it perfect! You can start by learning four new words on a daily basis and then increase it to 8 and then 12, and so on.

Find a mentor who can guide you through the dark tunnel, and it’s necessary to find native partners who can speak in English and help you too! You can read newspapers on a daily basis. Start watch shows that will help you understand various accents like American, British, Canadian, etc.

2. Understand the rules and the format of the test

Know that there are two formats: IELTS General Training, and IELTS Academic. The mere difference lies between the reading and writing components.

Try understanding the band score of each level. Don’t go on other people’s myths, ask an authority for facts or any queries.

3. Practice Sample Questionnaires

You can purchase from your nearby centers which can provide you with a lot of IELTS material. You can take a preparation course where you can easily practice short essays for writing tests, and they will also provide general feedback so that you can incorporate them for your next exam!

4. Don’t get panic a day before your test!

This is so important!! The anxiety and feeling of rush inside us are humane, yet we need to be relaxed a day prior so that things take place. You can also go to the location of the exam center a day prior. Ensure that you arrive on time and get all the documents.
