Generally an International Students enters the country on a “Student Pass”.International students who are pursuing their full time undergraduate education from a registered ‘Institution of Higher Learning’ in Singapore are allowed to work part- time alongside their studies, but not for more than 16 hours per week.As an international student at a registered IHL (Institute of Higher Learning), you will be allowed to work full time during vacations and holidays for as many hours as you wish.

Students looking to pursue work after study in Singapore must also get a valid pass before they can join the workforce in Singapore.There are two types of work visas you can qualify for if you plan on working here in Singapore: the Q1 Employment Pass and the S-Pass.Even though Singapore is geographically small, there are a lot of job opportunities for international students.
