After completing an eligible qualification, students may apply for the Temporary Graduate Visa, or directly pursue the Skilled Independent Visa, Employer Nomination Scheme or Skilled Work Regional visa, allowing them to live, work and gain professional experience in Australia. The Australian government gives international students a great opportunity to stay back and work for a longer duration after completing their studies. The revised post-study work stream visa enables students to study, live and work in designated regional areas of the country for up to five years.
As per the recent announcement by the Australian Government, students studying a Master's by coursework are entitled to an additional year of PSW, i.e. 5 years in total.
